This is such a cool list of goals! Fanvids and comics are so much fun to make. Tons of work, but it always feels so good once they're done. Wishing you the best in getting both those accomplished!
Also, as an indie web enthusiast I really enjoyed visiting your site to see what you had done with it so far. Web design is very fun and I get way too excited about discovering new indie sites to follow. I just love how individual and personal they always feel - something that's hard to find online anymore.
