Exactly - I have so many unfinished fics from my years in fandom, both published and unpublished xD I'm in awe of the people who can serialise massive multichapter works on a schedule - even if I thought I could write that many words for one fanwork (I do tend towards plotty works but there's an upper limit to length), I could never sustain the updates regularly. I promised my Podcast Big Bang fic on a weekly schedule and that lasted for exactly two chapters (and only because they were already written xD)
